Vacation Swedish Glögg
Serves 8
INGREDIENTS
1 cup honey
½ cup water
4 cinnamon sticks
6 entire star anise
1 orange, studded with 10 entire cloves
3 bottles dry, light-bodied purple wine
½ cup Grand Marnier
DIRECTIONS
In a big saucepan over medium, soften the honey and water with the cinnamon sticks and star anise. Lower the warmth to low and add the orange and the wine. Mull the wine for 1 hour. End with the Grand Marnier and serve heat.
