Cruise ships – greater than 100 of them – are returning to Wellington this summer time following two years of maritime border closures because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 Ministry of Well being and Maritime New Zealand protocols are in place to handle the return of the cruise business.
At present’s two cruise ships which have been berthed in Wellington are the Queen Elizabeth, which carries 2500 passengers, and the Grand Princess which carries 3100 passengers.
They have been the twenty third and twenty fourth arrivals of the brand new season.
They’ll every be again three extra instances earlier than the cruise season is over.
